Successo Strabiliante per Le Giornate Di Astrobiologia: Menti Ispirate e Riunione dei Soci

Le Giornate Di Astrobiologia, svoltosi il 25 e 26 gennaio 2024 presso la Sala Conferenze dell'Area di Ricerca NA1 del CNR a Via P. Castellino 111, Napoli, hanno riscosso un notevole successo, attirando partecipanti appassionati e fornendo un'opportunità unica per esplorare le frontiere dell'astrobiologia, onorare una mente illuminata e coinvolgere attivamente i soci nella vita della Società Italiana di Astrobiologia (SIA).

Menti Ispirate: Un incontro in memoria di Mosè Rossi (25 gennaio 2024)

La prima giornata dell'evento, dedicata a "Menti Ispirate," è stata una toccante celebrazione in memoria di Mosè Rossi, uno dei Fondatori della SIA, recentemente scomparso. Con il patrocinio dell'Istituto di Bioscienze e BioRisorse del CNR, la giornata ha offerto testimonianze commoventi da parte di allievi, colleghi ed amici, onorando la figura straordinaria di questo pioniere dell'astrobiologia. La partecipazione, aperta a tutti, ha richiesto la registrazione obbligatoria, e l'evento è stato un momento di condivisione e ricordo di Mosè Rossi.

Riunione dei Soci della Società Italiana di Astrobiologia (26 gennaio 2024)

La seconda giornata è stata dedicata alla Riunione dei Soci, offrendo ai membri della Società un'opportunità unica di essere coinvolti attivamente nelle attività future. La giornata ha presentato le iniziative della SIA per l'anno in corso e ha coinvolto i soci nella creazione di nuovi Gruppi di Lavoro. L'evento è stato esclusivo per i soci della SIA, con la registrazione obbligatoria gratuita per garantire un'organizzazione logistica impeccabile.

L'intero programma dell'evento è stato arricchito da interventi di rilievo, tra cui la Presentazione dello IAI da parte del Presidente Raffaele Saladino, i Gruppi di Lavoro su Newsletter, Divulgazione, Astrobiologia e formazione, e l'Etica dell'Astrobiologia. La presentazione del Comitato Scientifico e del nuovo sito Web della Società sono stati momenti culminanti, segnando importanti passi avanti nella crescita e nello sviluppo della SIA.

Il Consiglio Direttivo della Società Italiana di Astrobiologia ringrazia tutti i partecipanti, i relatori, i sostenitori e gli sponsor che hanno reso possibile questo straordinario evento. Inspired Minds: A Meeting in Memory of Moses Rossi (Jan. 25, 2024)

The first day of the event, dedicated to "Inspired Minds," was a touching celebration in memory of Moses Rossi, one of the Founders of the SIA, who recently passed away. Under the sponsorship of the Institute of Biosciences and Bioresources of CNR, the day offered moving testimonies from students, colleagues and friends, honoring the extraordinary figure of this pioneer in Science. Participation, open to all, required mandatory registration, and the event was a time of sharing and remembrance of Moses Rossi.

Meeting of the Members of the Italian Society of Astrobiology (Jan. 26, 2024)

The second day was dedicated to the Members' Meeting, providing a unique opportunity for Society members to be actively involved in future activities. The day presented SIA initiatives for the current year and involved members in the creation of new Working Groups. The event was exclusive to SIA members, with free mandatory registration.

The entire event program featured keynote speeches, including the IAI Presentation by President Raffaele Saladino, Working Groups on Newsletter, Dissemination, Astrobiology and Education, and the Ethics of Astrobiology. The was also the presentation of the new Scientific Committee and the Society's new website, marking important steps forward in the growth and development of the SIA.
